Mike. Thameslink run all night from Gatwick. That time may only be a couple an hour but that will get you into Blackfriars, Farringdon or St Pancras and then you can get an uber cab

When know what time you're due to arrive at Blackfriars you can use Uber Scheduled Rides to ensure there's a driver there waiting for you.

I wouldn't use uber they can't bloody drive and don't have the correct insurance, not a good combination.
